It will provide Two curvy ICEpower B&O speakers on either side, we immediately thought that we’d been transported to Pandora and were living lives of motion-capture magic. Then we got up close. The speakers naturally sound great — possibly the best in-line laptop speakers we’ve come across — and that may be the sole selling point for some.

ASUS dual drives supporting up to 1280GB, along with  Blu-ray drive and the new USB 3.0 slot. Now prices is not available at this time, It will display later.

ASUS Eee PC 1002HAE Unboxed – ASUS Eee pc, ASUS Eee PC 1002HAE

My new ASUS Eee PC 1002HAE arrived today, in Red! First time I’ve seen an Eee PC in red. I would have got it last week when it was released but I was in Korea at the time.

What’s different or new with the 1002HAE? Good question!

  • Newer Intel Atom N280 processor.
  • Lighter aluminium casing (1.45 -> 1.2 kg, or 3.2 -> 2.6 lbs).
  • Chiclet keyboard

This is an upgrade over the Eee PC 1002HA. It’s also equivalent to the yet to be released 1002H but with the lighter shell.

It is priced at 49,800 yen ($518) but for a US release (if it ever does get released there) It’d probably be released around the same price as the 10” Acer Aspire One ($349).

Externally nothing seems to have changed. The box and contents are also exactly the same as the S101H/1002HA. There might be some other differences on the software side of things, but I won’t know until I’ve installed Windows on it.
