Sony Music Unlimited: Music Unlimited from Sony Competes with iTunes

Sony has announced the launching of its music service which is likely to compete with the Apple iTunes. The music service from Sony will be called as ‘Music Unlimited’. The Sony ‘Music Unlimited’ music service is a cloud based service which is likely to launch by the end of this year, 2010.

Sony ‘Music Unlimited’ user will be able to stream music with the devices such as TVs, Blu-ray players, the PS3 and Windows PCs. Fujio Nishida, president of Sony Europe, said, “It is a cloud-based digital music streaming service that gives music lovers access to millions of tracks stored and synced with your devices,” he also added, “will be going live by the end of the year,”

Steve Jobs on iTunes 10 Ping features said that, Ping is a social network for music. The iTunes 10 Ping allows the users to use iTunes as a social network. The iTunes 10 ping can be used by the users to follow and choose your friends to follow you.

Also you can share your favorite music with your friends and let others know that you have purchased the music. Ping can also be used for messaging, sharing videos and many other features.

The other feature include in the iTunes 10 is AirPlay which allows you to stream your music with the other devices such as speaker docks, AV receivers and stereo systems. iPad and iPhone can also be used to stream the music. Apple has announced the details of its next generation iPod Touch. Apple has announced the next generation iPod Touch which features some very interesting features which are worth having a look. The new Apple iPod Touch features the new Retina Display which is already in the iPhone 4 and comes with the similar chip that the iPhone 4 comes packed with, that is Apple A4 chip.

Twitter has come up with a new version of iPhone App which would in turn work on the Apple iPad.
