Epson  launched  PowerLite G5000. This Epson’s line of installation projectors are suitable for auditoriums, classrooms, boardrooms and educational institutions.

It offers a XGA resolution and 4,000 lumens white light output as well as 4,000 lumens color light output. The network-ready PowerLite G5000 also applies 3LCD technology to deliver advanced image quality and powerful visual presentations.

The PowerLite 83V+ will become available in February 2010.

This has been tagged with  price of $649.

Canon refreshes PIXMA, laser printer line-ups

Canon today announced new additions to its PIXMA range of inkjet printers and multifunctions. The product updates are primarily focussed on home users, with minor hardware improvements as well as better software.

For home users, Canon has released the PIXMA iP4700 inkjet printer, as well as the MP640 and MP990 inkjet multifunctions.

The Canon PIXMA iP4700 inkjet printer offers automatic duplex printing, CD/DVD printing and print speeds of up to 9.2 pages per minute for monochrome documents and 8.1ppm for colour ones.

The PIXMA MP640 and MP990 inkjet multifunctions both offer Wi-Fi connectivity, CD/DVD printing and Canon’s proprietary Easy Scroll Wheel. The multifunctions allow users to print directly from USB flash drives through the front-mounted PictBridge port. Like its predecessor, the PIXMA MP980, the PIXMA MP990 offers Ethernet connectivity and 35mm slide and negative scanning.

The company also announced the PIXMA iX7000, an A3+ inkjet printer which provides three-way media feeding and print speeds of up to 10.2 pages per minute (ppm) for monochrome documents and 8.1ppm for colour ones. The inkjet printer uses Canon’s LUCIA pigment inks and incorporates PgR technology to prevent ink bleeding and water damage. (more…)

The V500 scanner is suitable both for home and office use. It’s also equipped with 30-page automatic document feeder and with a scan speed of three pages per minute. Canon Pixma MX700 Color Inkjet Multi Function Printer

Canon offers various printers, Canon ink jet printers, Canon all in one printers, canon photo printers, canon pixma printers, canon laser printers. The Canon Pixma MX700 color ink jet multifunction printer offers strong overall performance for a comfortably midrange price. While no single multifunction unit could satisfy everyone–I dislike certain aspects of this model’s print quality and design, for instance the Pixma MX700 still deserves credit for its balanced mix of features.

One of the faster units we’ve tested to date (though it falls far short of the top engine speed Canon quotes), the Pixma MX700 pushed out text pages at a rate of 9.1 pages per minute; graphics pages averaged a swift 3.2 ppm overall. So far, only the HP OfficeJet Pro L7680 has performed faster. (more…)
