MSI P55-GD85 Motherboard Announced

MSI has introduced P55-GD85 Motherboard. This is the most high energy  motherboard for socket 1156 processor.

This can run with  Windows Vista and offering an Intel Centrino processor, the 14-inch notebook’s “economic” price comes in at £499 and £569, depending on spec.

This high-end motherboard supports LGA 1156 processors and features four DDR3-2133 memory slots, two PCI-Express x16 slots for SLI or CrossFireX setups, a 7.1 channel audio and a SuperPipe-equipped cooling system.

In terms of connectivity ports, it provides two SATA 6.0 Gbps, seven 3.0 Gbps, one eSATA, dual Gigabit Ethernet, FireWire and two USB 3.0.

The MSI P55-GD85 is now available for pre-order in Europe for 185 Euro (about $266).

ASUS Lets You To Overclock A Motherboard Via Bluetooth

ASUS will be debuting the Republic of Gamers (ROG) Maximus III Extreme P55-based motherboard at DreamHack Winter from November 26–29, 2009. This new motherboard enables users to tweak system settings wirelessly over Bluetooth via a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone. The Republic of Gamers (ROG) Maximus III Extreme supports up to 16GB DDR3 memory, 5x PCIe x16 slots, Intel P55 Express chipset, and nVidia SLI / ATI CrossFireX multi-GPU technology.
