The New Alex PC from the UK’s Broadband Computer Company is going to be liked by the people who are not into computer and even do not want to know about the computers and who are not interested in what computer stuff comes inn and out.
The Alex PC is a re branded Clevo M760T notebook which does has the basic computer requirements for a user to work and move away. The basic configuration constitutes 1.66GHz Celeron CPU and 1GB of RAM. Users are going to work by logging into a custom which is based on Linux Operating System by inserting a USB drive BCC calls a latch key and typing the password.
Every person has a different latch key for logging in and accessing their own files and documents. Once the user logs in, he can have access to the regular options like the web, e-mail, an address book, a media player, a photo editor ,photo viewer and more. BCC promises that only the first log in would require a initial setup and will then after the user need not worry about the performance and updates. Also in addition to the 120GB hard drive with local content a cloud storage service is being offered for free by BCC. (which is amazing and the user would have no worries about the computer updates and about the computer. )
Apart from these services the notebook would carry a DVD burner, a 1.3-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and a six-cell battery. The Alex is offered with or without an Internet service, although both would have the monthly fee. The Alex PC has been tagged at a price tag of $620 in UK along with the monthly fee of $15 and also few broadband charges. This Alex PC for now is fixed for UK and still there is no information on the release of it in US.
