AMD Officially Launched 890GX Chipset

Sunnyvale, California-based CPU and GPU manufactures together introduced 890GX chip set in the beginning of March. The company officially announced the details of 890GX chipset.

The main reason for officially launched now is, it supports the upcoming AMD Phenom II X6 six-core CPU. And the another reason is, 890GX is integrated with ATI Radeon HD 4290 graphics core. It has a clock speed of 700MHz, 40 stream processors and UVD 2.0 support.

890GX contains 1080p Blu-ray format, including dual-screen picture-in-picture and video encoded in MPEG2, VC-1 and h.264 formats. It supports next generation PCI also. AMD says, new motherboards is based on this core-logic and also contain USB 3.0 connectivity. But we need to wait some time to buy this product. Stay tune for more details.

Acer Aspire One Netbook with NVIDIA Graphics

The New Acer Netbook is the first among the Netbooks which comes with the NVIDIA’s Ion 2 Graphics. Acer has made it to the first place in placing the NVIDIA’s Ion 2 Graphics in its Acer Aspire one 532G.

The Acer’s Aspire One 532G is being claimed the world’s first to use NVIDIA’s Ion 2 graphics technology for 1080p playback. Acer keeps amazing us with the newer and latest technology, there by making to the first position with the hunger of Technology.

This Acer’s Aspire One 532G will playback videos at 1080p with 7.1-channel audio output. This Acer Aspire Netbook has 10.1-inch LED-backlit screen. It also carries few addition features like 3D gaming10-hour battery life, Wi-Fi and the choice of embedded 3G all figure, along with an Intel N450 Pine Trail chip and HDMI video output.

This Amazing Acer Netbook will be available in several colors like Red, Blue, Silver, etc. The Acer Aspire One 532G will be available in a month or two. Stay tuned for more updates.

ACER Aspire 5738 3D Laptop

Acer introduced latest Aspire 5738 3D laptop. This is very effective model. 3D is the dimensional model. It allow animation process. we can increase processing for the use of this.

This new laptop by Acer is not a ordinary model, the simple addition of a letter “D” in the model name has added another dimension to the viewing. Ok I’m bored of that pun too, so let’s get down to seeing what is really on offer here, in the Acer Aspire 5738 DG model, with 3D capabilities.

Design and Features:
The physical attributes of the notebook are really impressive, with a rugged matte finished interior and glossy exterior. the keyboard is roomy and features full sized shift, enter keys and also a full sized numpad. The mouse button is singular and wide, with a decent tactile reponse, but the keyboard buttons are even better. The finish overall ofthe model is quite nice, no real wobbly overhang in the screen tilt.

The screen itself is 15.6 inches, 1366 x 768 native res. Mainly it’s TriDef enabled. We’ll get to the Tridef software discussion in a bit. The connections available are USB 2.0 ports x 4, one HDMI out, and two headphone jacks. Connectivity includes the regular Bluetooth, 802.11n, and ethernet. There is a webcam and Flash card reader also. I would like to mention a bit more about the screen, as it’s LED backlit, and comes with a brightness rating of 220 nit. Acer announces eco-friendly laptops

Acer introduced latest eco friendly laptops. It provides many features. 3811TZ and 3811TZG are the latest laptops, it is introduced by Acer.

Features:

HDD : 500 GB
Biodegradable, eco-friendly PCs appear to be the big buzzword of 2010 with Acer joining Dell in designing a product which has a definite shelf life – only Acer’s is actually in production.

The company has launched a pair of Aspire laptops – the 3811TZ and 3811TZG – which have received plaudits from Greenpeace for their use of biodegradable plastics along with the removal of polyvinyl chloride and brominated flame retardants from the manufacturing process.

The only part of both laptops to contain the brominated flame retardants – linked to the emission of toxic substances into the environment after disposal – is the power supply, which makes sense from a safety perspective. (more…)

Acer Aspire D250 –Android OS/Windows 7 Netbook

The Acer has introduced D250 Netbook. This can run with Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM and a 250GB hard drive.

Connectivity comes in the form of an Ethernet socket and Wi-Fi b/g, with 3x USB 2.0 connections, VGA, headphone and mic sockets. A card reader sits in the edge so you can slot in an SD card, which will sit flush with the edge so you can leave it in all the time if that’s what you want to do.

It is believed that one can experience the best of the Android OS on a touch screen only but accessing it with a mouse and keyboard is one different and unique experience. By the virtue of 3G compatibility, memory card reader and USB slots, D250 offers you with number of connectivity options. (more…)

Aspire AS5740 offers True 5.1-channel Surround Sound Output which is absent for AS7740. This is bit surprising since the AS7740 doesn’t have ATI’s Mobility Radeon HD 5000 series graphics monster.

Both laptops costs approximately $750 and has been available from January 17 in U.S.

Acer 3810TG Notebook PC

Acer has recently launched latest 2010 Aspire notebook. This notebook name is 3810TG. It is the new series in the Korea market. It provide high speed processing.

The laptop uses Intel’s latest Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor with a 4GB DDR3 RAM, a 320GB hard disk drive, an ATI Radeon HD4330 graphics and Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium OS. It has 13.3-inch HD LCD screen with 1366 x 768 resolution and a 9-cell battery pack that provides up to 12 hours of operation time.

Running on Windows 7 Home Premium OS, the 3810TG Series is equipped with 4GB DDR3 RAM, 320GB HDD and ATI Radeon HD4330 graphics. With 13.3-inch HD LCD screen with 1366 * 768 resolution, it features less than 1-inch thickness and 1.7kg weight.
