Here we go with the latest updates on Apple’s third-generation iPad features. As you are aware, the Cupertino Giant has never unveiled the amount of RAM built into any iPhone or iPad.
According to the reports from the sources familiar with the matter asserted that the new A5X processor in Apple’s third-generation iPad features 1 gigabyte of RAM. The RAM present in the New iPad is double that of the iPad 2 released last year, powered by the custom-built A5 processor. Moreover, it is twice that of the iPhone 4S rolled out late last year that as well features the A5.
RAM limitations in earlier chips were claimed to be hit by battery life concerns. Last October, the Software Giant (Microsoft) elucidated that RAM is always consuming power, as a result the more memory that is equipped with a system, the less battery life it provides.
On the other hand, as the new iPad is projected to feature twice the RAM, we hope the performance improvement will have no effect on the battery life of the New iPad. On Wednesday, the iPhone Maker unveiled that the new iPad will persist to offer 10 hours of battery life while operation on Wi-Fi and 9 hours of battery life on 4G LTE networks.
The new A5X processor is equipped with a dual-core CPU, which is similar to the A5. However, the performance has been boosted by a latest quad-core graphics processor, which the Cupertino Giant asserts that is twice as fast as the Nvidia Tegra 3 by offering four times the performance.
