Apple VS Samsung Patent Lawsuits latest update note that a German court hand dismissed two rulings, where in one lawsuit from Samsung against Apple over 3G standards and another suit where Apple filed against Samsung over touchscreen slide-to-unlock functionality.
According to Florian Mueller reports, on Friday in Germany’s Mannheim Regional Court, the Judge has issued two patent rulings, tossing out the third Samsung complaint in a row, and one of two suits Apple has lodged over slide-to-unlock.
On the other hand, the South Korean electronic giant has already revealed that they will appeal their dismissal, and it’s likely that the Cupertino California Company will appeal their own also, however the company declined to comment.
Friday’s two decisions indicate that currently four of 14 Mannheim cases among Apple and Samsung have been ruled on. Where in 6 of the complaints are filed by Apple on Samsung, as well as another related to slide-to-unlock with regard to a utility model.
