HP strikes with its first large-screen Windows-based rival, HP Omni 27 all-in-one that will be available in the U.S. market from Jan.8th at a starting price tag of $1,200.
According to the official reports from the Company, the Configuration options for HP Omni 27 all-in-one consist of Intel CPUs ranging from the Core i3 to the Core i7 series, with 4GB and 8GB memory options from both Nvidia and AMD discrete graphics chip choices, and up to 3TB of hard-drive capacity.
A part from the other features, the 27-inch display is the most important attraction. As Apple, HP is not using the similar high-resolution, 2,560×1, 440-pixel display. In its place, the Omni 27 will be equipped with 1,920×1, 080 pixels. This lower resolution will put off design professionals; however the large display will make the Omni 27 tempting for those interested in a PC for home entertainment.
Furthermore, HP’s Omni product line, the Omni 27 will not have a touch screen, which has not permitted the Company from including the Magic Canvas desktop background that strikes with HP’s TouchSmart all-in-ones.
HP Omni 27 all-in-one is equipped with HDMI input, which allow you connect HDMI-based video source components straightly to the Omni 27, this successfully turns the system into a standalone display for a game console or cable box.
