"Kindle Touch and Touch 3G" Here we go with the latest news regarding Fiat 500 Abarth version, the cute and Italian stylish smart car is finally all set to strike the US market and quite fascinatingly, today at the North American Los Angeles Auto Show the Abarth 500 smart car has made its inaugural debut.

Yet, here it is, the performance version, that we are sure Fiat hopes will broaden the 500′s appeal to more men. Well, the Italian car manufacturer Fiat’s performance division upgrades the car’s suspension and brakes, with a race-inspired design with hands it optional 17-inch rims and one-of-a-kind Abarth badging.

Moreover, Weighing just 2,533 pounds and goes from 0-60 in all of 9.4 seconds running with a striking 160 horsepower from the Fiat’s 1.4L MultiAir engine under the hood with extra technology features.

Head of Fiat brand for Chrysler Group, Olivier Francois says that bringing the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth to the U.S. enables us to reach out to driving enthusiasts who want Italian performance at an attainable price. Further, he states that with its lightweight, track-tuned handling and purpose-built design, the Fiat 500 Abarth brings to life the legendary racing heritage of the brand and becomes the Italian high-performance car for everyday driving.

In Europe, the base Abarth version makes 135hp and 152 lb-ft of torque and the upgraded little car is wearing a scorpion badge. On the other hand, the Company hopes that the horsepower of the smart car boost up to 160 hp and will as well reinvigorate lagging sales of the Company.
