Adobe Systems has unleashed latest patch for the critical security vulnerabilities which affected its Flash player platform.
Software Maker Adobe has stated that the vulnerabilities affected Flash Player 10.3.183.7 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Solaris, and Flash Player 10.3.186.6 for Android and the hackers are also currently tricking users by using malicious link which is sent via e-mail messages and trapping the users further.
Adobe said there is information which shows that one of these vulnerabilities (CVE-2011-2444) is being utilized in the wild in active targeted attacks designed to trap the user into clicking on a malicious link delivered in an email message. Hence Adobe advises users to upgrade the latest updates for their product installations so they can avoid from the universal cross-site scripting issue which could be used to take proceedings on a user’s behalf on any website or webmail provider if the user visits a malicious website.
This concern was identified by the World’s largest Search Engine Google, the search engine giant could have found the vulnerability affecting Gmail users but they immediately informed Adobe about the vulnerability discovered.
