Here we go with the latest update from Microsoft’ Build developer conference, where in a reference tablet was discovered featuring NVIDIA’s Kal-El quad-core processor at the same time as running Windows 8.According to the reports, NVIDIA’s Kal-El tablet has been alleged to show at the event and in the past even thought to be the giveaway. However unfortunately, the tablet has driven out to be from Samsung featuring an Intel chip, whereas the Kal-El did emerge although remained out of reach and under plexiglass.
In February, the much expected NVIDIA Kal-El quad-core processor was initially announced, when it was planned to land sometime later 2011. August and September, both rumored dates have pretty nearly passed and it’s not yet sure when precisely Kal-El-toting tablets and smartphones might strike the market. Yesterday, NVIDIA revealed its Windows 8 developer program, although with the fresh OS not yet planned to launch until later in 2012. From all this one thing is sure that there won’t be seeing an absolute Windows 8 tablet like the reference slate until several months. Expectantly, an Android tablet with Kal-El will surface before year-end.
Unfortunately, the sources states that the Company has revealed only the information regarding Kal-El to be expected to present significant gains in battery life, measured in days, not hours.
Stay tuned to know more updates on technology!
