Nokia N9 the hot cake in the web from couple of days, now the Company is proudly boosting up about its new N9 MeeGo smartphone camera abilities; how quickly the handset can fire off a shot.
According to Jens Wilkes; the product manager of Nokia states that N9 is the fastest image-capturing phone on the market, before comparing the N9 smartphone 2.6 second performance to its tardy competitors.
Wilkes explains that in 2.6 seconds, the camera of N9 is turned on, viewfinder is ready, focus on the subject and the image is captured. While In comparison to Apple’s iPhone 4 it takes 3 seconds and the Samsung Galaxy S II a little longer again ( more than 3 seconds).
Unhappily, it is an embarrassing showing for various Windows Phone 7 handsets, on the other hand LG Optimus 7 taking almost 5 seconds and the HTC HD7 an inexplicable 8.3 seconds. With a bit of luck Nokia will be bringing some of its camera speed tweaks to the Microsoft table, or else MeeGo might end up showing up its Windows Phone siblings releasing in fourth quarter of 2011.
Furthermore, Wilkes also highlights the continuous auto-focus with tap to focus support together with face detection and 30fps 720p HD video recording. The N9′s NFC can also be used for device-to-device image transfers, although it is unclear whether it itself is responsible for the exchange or just to set up a Bluetooth connection with minimal headaches for the user themselves.
