At the Microsoft Developer Forum in Tokyo the Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer gave few clues regarding the upcoming features on the Windows 8 platform and he also enclosed that it will be launched next year.
The Windows 8 will be coming out in most advanced version for the next generation hardware, it will play a critical role supporting ARM processors for the use in tablet computers and also give support to the touch, ink and speech, Ballmer added we are working really hard over the next sequel of Windows and are having an brand new user interface.
The advanced version will have the added touch, ink, and speech, and much more will come out of the next generation Windows which will be launched by next year, you will be getting lot of news to hear about the Windows 8 before its launch, Windows 8 slates, tablets, PCs, a variety of different form factors.
Another source has stated that after the announcement done by Ballmer, one of the Spokesperson from Microsoft revealed that Ballmer had made a misstatement when he was talking about Windows 8 and it appears there was a misstatement. We are eagerly waiting for the next generation of Windows 7 hardware that will be available in the coming fiscal year. To date, we have yet to formally announce any timing or naming for the next version of Windows.
