Call of Duty one of the world’s most celebrated video games is gearing-up to be out on November 8th and already the line has started filling with online retailers placing it on pre-orders, though it is six months in advance.
Pricing tag for Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox 360 versions is costing around £44.99 each and the PC edition will be costing £39.99, there is already a war going between the retailers over the price, after the game’s precursor, Call of Duty: Black Ops which was named best-selling game of the year in 2010.
It swept away high revenue from the gaming industry and stood as the first game to produce more than one billion dollars in less than 50 days, and the one third of the sales was generated in just 24 hours after it was launched.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 earned more $550 million in its first five days after going live on sales, and it finished of 1 billion mark after 60 days, with these numbers showing for the previous editions the will have high predictions over the MW3 which will be released just before Christmas November 9th.
