Samsung the top mobile phone provider in the U.S. has today officially confirmed the launch of its WiFi-only Galaxy Tablet. According to Samsung, the new Samsung Galaxy Tablet will be hitting the retail stores and Web sites across US on April 10th with a price tag of $349.99.
The President of Samsung Mobile, Dale Sohn states that the 7-inch Galaxy Tablet is the first truly mobile tablet on the market, which allows users to comfortably hold the device in one hand while typing or navigating the Web with the other and also states that the WiFi version of the Galaxy Tablet join Samsung growing portfolio of Galaxy-branded devices.
Samsung Galaxy Tablet weighs 13 ounces, 12 millimeters thin and is equipped with super-light and sleek device, runs on Android 2.2 platform and has a 7-inch TFT display with a 1024 x 600 display resolution and is armed with a rear-facing 3 megapixel camera, a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera and camcorder for video chat, with 32 GB of internal storage and offers microSD expansion up to 32 GB of additional storage.
Supporting Adobe Flash Player 10.1, the Samsung Galaxy Tablet even includes access to Media Hub, can download 150,000 app available from the Android Market, Samsung’s Social Hub application.
