Google, couple of weeks back has released the latest version of their web browser, Chrome 10 Beta and now Google is bringing the Chrome 10 Beta update to Chrome OS which contains more goodies. The updated version of Chrome OS for Cr-48 users implements many new features that the company has been marketing with Chrome 10 Beta.
Most importantly, the update version of Chrome OS is a fix for the trackpad issues that have plagued the device. Earlier, Cr-48 trackpad has brought technical glitches for people who are unable to do things with the input device on the laptop and now after couple of months the problem has been fixed.
Google specially quoted “new trackpad” in the opening statement of their blog post which appear to be a good sign.
The Chrome OS Beta channel has been updated to R10 release 0.10.156.46, which includes enhanced screen indicators for brightness, network status and the update icon, a 3G modem activation fix, updated engine and wifi connectivity, enhanced power options and Gtalk video/chat optimizations. The updated to R10 release 0.10.156.46 also includes Chrome 10 Beta.
