Apple iPad 2 the much awaited and the hot cake in the web has now came to an end by making almost all the rumors come true with its official announcement on the Wednesday’s event by the company’s CEO Steve Jobs, who made a surprise appearance at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco to introduce the iPad 2.
Keeping aside all the rumors with regard to his health issues, Apple CEO Steve Jobs had given a wonderful 71-minute presentation, which got a big round of applause every time after finishing an explanation on each subject. Jobs at the presentation said that he did not want to miss the chance to launch the Apple iPad 2 after working hard for several months.
Finally, after completing the marvelous 71 minutes presentation, Steve Jobs called his staff who made the iPad 2 to rise from their seats and urged the spectators to give them a round of applause.
While coming to the features of the new iPad 2, the next generation iPad strikes the market with 2 colors (Black and White), measuring 9.5 x 7.31 x 0.34 inches dimension and 1.33-1.35 pounds weight, with 9.7-inch retina display and 2048-by-1536 resolution and runs with the new A5 processor, powered by Qualcomm dual-mode GSM/CDMA chip and the new iPad 2 is armed with two cameras, 720p rear, (and the front-facing one only has a VGA resolution), with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, equipped with Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, 3-axis gyro Sensors with a battery life of Up to 10 hours.
According to the reports, the new Apple iPad 2 will be will be available at Best Buy stores starting March 11. Signifying that Best Buy will begin sales of the iPad 2 at the same 5 p.m. launch scheduled for Apple’s retail stores.
So be ready to grad to the next generation iPad on March 11 at Best Buy and at Apple retail stores in US with a base price tag of $499.
