Alereon has revealed Wireless HDTV Extender . This will consist of 2 inch adapter.
Alereon has unveiled new wireless tech that allows a notebook user to wirelessly stream video from the laptop to the HDTV via HDMI. The device is called the Alereon Laptop to HDTV Extender. The system needs no drivers and consists of a 2-inch dongle and a small HDMI adapter. The system supports transfer speeds of up to 220Mbps and supports up to 720p resolution form up to 30 feet away from the computer. Alereon’s Extender is easy to setup. This new NoWire wireless USB extender, which does away with the need for any software or drivers, uses your wireless USB dongle to mirror your laptop display on your TV, which itself must be outfitted with the Alereon TV receiver that connects via HDMI or VGA The USB dongle is to be plugged into the USB port of your laptop, while the TV device is connected to the TV via the HDMI or VGA input.
